Fabric Mask Red Ohio State Reversible to Black
This is a limited edition mask made in my home studio in Columbus, OH from leftover quilt fabric.
I started making masks for friends and then got a lot of requests so I’ve added masks to my line! We are going to need these for quite awhile so might as well get a stylish one.
Yes! I researched online how other sewers were lining their masks or putting filters in and found that pellon is a great filter and it is washable and reusable. So I have a layer of pellon in between the 2 layers of fabric.
Nose wire: Yes! Shape it to fit your cute nose.
Reversible: Yes! This mask is reversible to solid black.
Washable: Yes! Wash cold or warm, tumble dry low or hang to dry. I hand wash mine in the sink and hang them to dry because it’s quick and easy and you should wash your masks often. Plus it will last longer with hand washing but you can machine wash if you prefer.
Size: One size fits most. This is my regular mask size and it is 7.5” across, 6” from nose to chin.
Has rubber sliders on elastic to adjust ear loop size.
Fabric Content: cotton with a Pellon liner in between the 2 fabric layers.
Safety Note: I steam them before sending to help ensure germ killing but you cannot be too cautious so I would advise washing them again before wearing!
Enjoy and make friends with your mask 😷 it is your new companion through this crazy time and I hope you will stay safe!
Wishing you good health and peace in this trying time. ❤️
